With over twenty years of teaching experience and forty years of performance training, Dr. McQueen offers private instruction in voice, piano, speech, and dramatic arts from her home studio in Livermore. Holding a PhD in Leadership and master’s degrees in both Music and Christian Studies, she blends exceptional academic credentials with specialized training in the Suzuki and Kodály methods. As the founder of SmARTSunlimited and a dedicated community leader, she is uniquely skilled in Early Childhood Music Education and adaptive teaching for students with Dyslexia and Spectrum traits and has helped over 1000 students and their families. Her extensive background spans major operatic and musical theater roles, as well as directing dozens of full-scale productions, independent films, and community fundraisers. Dr. McQueen is deeply committed to helping students of all ages and backgrounds discover their creative talents and achieve excellence.

Specializing in piano and voice, Deborah brings decades of teaching experience to young students aged 5 to 17. She focuses on nurturing talent in both music and acting, creating a supportive environment that encourages growth and confidence. She is a member of the Music Teachers Association of California and the Royal Conservatory of Music. As a 35 year Livermore resident, she offers voice, piano, music theory, speech and dramatic arts to students. She has experience teaching students with learning disorders.
